Rules, Section One - General Behavior.
- Members are expected to treat each other with respect and be civil with each other. Fighting, insulting, or otherwise hurting others' feelings is not tolerated. Harassment of any kind is prohibited.
- This website is expected to remain PG-13. Swearing is permitted, sexually explicit information is not. Please use fade to black as soon as the clothes come off.
- Members of the site are expected to have a fair grasp on spelling, grammar and punctuation. Whilst not every word must be spelled correctly, 'text-talk' is strongly discouraged.
Rules, Section Two - Characters.
- Character biographies must be submitted by creating a thread in the Character Creation board.
- The name of said thread must include the character's name and district.
- Members cannot use their characters until a member of staff has accepted their character.
- Character biographies must include the following: One paragraph minimum for appearance, two paragraphs minimum for personality, and two paragraphs minimum for history. Please try to avoid lists in character biographies.
- Even if you meet the requirements, staff have the right to reject your character. They will, however, give advice on how to imrpove your character, and after you have edited your character you can bump it for it to be checked again. If you feel like your character has been unfairly rejected (which is unlikely; we try to be as fair as possible) then please PM me directly with your complaint.
- There is no limit to the amount of characters owned by one member. You do not have to have separate accounts for each character, therefore your account does not have to be named after your character.
- Canon characters and relations to canon characters are prohobited.
- Mary-Sues and Gary-Stus are prohibited. These are characters that are seemingly 'perfect'.
- Members are allowed to claim celebrities as face claims (that is, stating that their character's appearance matches that of the celebrities) but they must be claimed in the Face Claim thread. If a character is not accepted, please do not claim a face claim. You can reserve a face claim for up to one month.
- The standard for Peacekeeper characters is much higher than that of regular characters.
Rules, Section Three - Roleplaying.
- Roleplaying with a character who has not been accepted yet is prohibited.
- Powerplaying (i.e. controlling someone else's character) is prohibited. This can be as simple as shaking someone's hand when no offer has been made to making the character do or say something.
- Godmodding (i.e making your character more powerful than they actually are, e.g. dodge every attack, eleven year old mastermind etc.) is also prohibited.
Rules, Section Four - Shoutbox.
- The shoutbox can be found at the bottom of the forum under the Show Shoutbox button.
- All rules listed above are also to be included when using the shoutbox.
- No advertising or spamming in the shoutbox. Also, try to keep swearing to a minimum. Not all users are comfortable with swearing and we would like to keep a friendly and open atmosphere in the shoutbox.
